Tweeting confused!

As well as getting to grips with Twitter this week, I’ve also come across other services that make using Twitter easier.
One of these I find particularly useful and that is a Tweetlater. This is great for spacing your ‘tweets’ out. Tweets are the short messages you send out on Twitter. They have to be less than 140 characters long so they are like a text message. Tweetlater allows you to schedule when your tweets go live. I can see this being useful if I wanted to promote a certain event in the future or set up a series of informational tweets to go out one day at a time.

The other useful thing I’ve found is tweetdeck which gives you a dash board on your PCs desktop and shows what all your friends are doing and also integrates into Facebook. You can tweet directly from tweetdeck as well.

The new browser I mentioned yesterday (Flock) really comes into its own when Tweeting and blogging as you can do it directly from the browswer. So, if you come across something online that you want ot tweet or blog about (or both!) you can do it directly without having to log in separately to those services.
